The Piazza

The Piazza is a vibrant creative space where learners explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media to express their ideas, imagination, and understanding of the world around them. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and integrated with the IB PYP, this welcoming environment encourages curiosity, collaboration, and meaningful inquiry through hands-on artistic experiences.

Here, visual arts are viewed as a language for learning, expression, and communication. Learners develop creativity, fine motor skills, observation, design thinking, confidence, and agency as they experiment with a variety of materials and techniques. Through exploring, creating, responding, and reflecting, they bring their ideas to life while building a deeper connection to their learning journey.
