Music Room

Our Music Room is an engaging learning environment where learners inquire into music as a form of expression, communication, and cultural understanding. Through exploration, experimentation, and reflection, students develop musical knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding by singing, moving, creating, performing, listening, and responding to music.

Guided by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), learners build agency as they investigate rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and musical patterns through authentic, hands-on experiences. They collaborate with others, express ideas and emotions creatively, appreciate diverse musical traditions and perspectives, and reflect on their growth as musicians. Through the creative process, learners develop confidence, curiosity, communication, and self-expression while making meaningful connections between music, their lives, and the world around them.
